Hi people

Gus (my lovely lady) and I are just about to buy a LWB Sprinter (if anyone knows anyone with a spare etc (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ) and set off in summer for a Euro tour for as long as we can.

I have half of the insides already (cooker, sink, skylights table etc) and a rough plan of the build. DIY skills are hopefully up to it, electrical knowledge and mechanics are very limited so will be hounding some of you when it comes to that point (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) (thanks in advance!)

Will post pics when we commence. Oh, we're in Manchester, trying hard to keep warm.

Hey Fash welcome aboard! ....

DIY skills are hopefully up to it, [/quote]

We have complete confidence that in case there is any shortfall in your DIY skills your vastly more than adequate 'social networking' skills will serve make up for it !

'set off for a Euro-tour for as long as we can '

- again we have faith ... you two can go forever ... or for as long as you want to !

Happy building .... and happy travels ...

Hi mate, I did the same as you, my sprinter is "finished" now, there's some pics in the gallery if they will help with your build, I'm only over the hill nr Huddersfield if you need a shoulder to cry on while you build

So, success this weekend. Got one (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

This is Gus, as you can see she's very pleased with our purchase (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Eager to get going, slightly deterred by the inch thick frost!

Went campervanning for 2 weeks around Europe last year. It was simply brilliant. Did loads of wildcamping and even some urban camping. Check out Bavaria.

--------------------
“The sole end for which mankind are warranted, individually or collectively, in interfering with the liberty of action of any of their number, is self-protection. That the only purpose for which power can be rightfully exercised over any member of a civilized community, against his will, is to prevent harm to others. His own good, either physical or moral, is not sufficient warrant. He cannot rightfully be compelled to do or forbear because it will be better for him to do so, because it will make him happier, because, in the opinion of others, to do so would be wise, or even right...The only part of the conduct of anyone, for which he is amenable to society, is that which concerns others. In the part which merely concerns him, his independence is, of right, absolute. Over himself, over his own body and mind, the individual is sovereign.”
